Prof. Sawtantar Singh Khurmi born on August 15, 1964 in the border district Ferozepur, Punjab obtained his MCA, M.Phil and Ph.D. Degrees from Indian Universities.
He served at PGIMER, Chandigarh in research analysis wing from 1988-1992. Thereafter, served at Punjabi University Patiala’s neighbourhood campus for 21 years. He also served as Professor in Computer Science Department at Punjab Technical University affiliated colleges.
His significant contributions are in computer applications for analysis, local languages and electronic governance. He is member of various international and national academic/research bodies of universities. He has conducting/chaired various international and national conferences. He is involved in various research projects. He has conducted workshops on Faculty Development Programs on Cloud Computing, Crowd Computing, Women in IT sector at various colleges.
He has reviewed more than 100 research papers and has 70 publications and 15 books. He is the member in various committees of international journals: Information Resources Management Association, USA, International Journal of Computing and Business Research, CSIR, Govt. of India, New Delhi, Official reviewer of Scientific Conferences of World Scientific and Engineering Academy and Society WSEAS, Athens, Greece, i-Xplore International Research Journal Consortium, irjcjournals.org, International Journal of Research in Electronics and Computer Engineering (IJRECE), International Conference on Interdisciplinary Research and Technological Developments, Cosmic group of journals, Chandigarh, Green ThinkerZ, environmental sustainability society, Chandigarh India.
