Prof (Dr.) Surya Narayan Panda, PhD in Computer Science and Applications from Kurukshetra University, Haryana, India; is working as a Professor & Director (Research) Centre of Advanced Computing Research, Chitkara University Research and Innovation Network, Chitkara University, Punjab India. He is very much conversant with Teaching/ Research and Administrative methodology and successfully delivering the same in his previous jobs also as Professor and Director, Regional Institute of Management & Technology, Mandi Gobindgarh, Punjab, India and Head of Post-Graduate Departmentof Computer Science, S.A.Jain PG College, Ambala City, Haryana, India Dr. Panda, is a techno-commercial professional,
exposed in the field of teaching/research in Computer Science for about twenty two years, he filed 3 patents in the field of Internet of things with Virtual Private Network and Big-data Applications. 3 Ph.D. Scholars in the field of Computer Science completed their Ph.D. under his guidance and 6 Ph.D and 3 M.E Scholars are working under him on different patented projects, also guided more than 50 post graduate students. He has published around 40 internationaland 15 national journal papers in referred journals. He has completed one UGC Research Project as Principal Investigator and providing consultancy to two national level software companies. He has received the certificate of appreciation from Informing Science Institute, Florida USA. His teaching and research interests include Computer Network Security, Database Management System, Operating System.
